Carol Ann Martin and her son, Q Harveson started publishing their books in the fall of 2024. Carol writes books about family life in the 20th century, while Q's books are based in fantasy and sci-fi. Read more about these authors below.

 Carol is a writer deeply rooted in the Ozarks. Living in a secluded cabin, on the property where she was raised, she draws inspiration from the area's rich history and rural life. Her novels transport readers back to the 20th century, bringing the past to life, inviting readers to experience the beauty and hardships of a bygone era. When not writing, she can be found poking around local flea markets, or just hanging around the cabin with Mehmet, her Anatolian Shepherd. In her first two books, "Roots in the Dust" and Secrets in the Cane", Carol has based characters on members of her own family and has retold stories of their struggles living through hard times in the 20th century. The books are fiction, not at all intended to be biographical, but many of the tales come from the author's tendency as a child, to eavesdrop on her elders a bit.

Q is a dedicated researcher and storyteller with an insatiable curiosity for the mysteries of alchemy, chemistry, psychology, and the supernatural. As someone on the autism spectrum, learning has never come easily, but it has always been worth the challenge. Fueled by a relentless passion for knowledge and self-improvement, Q has overcome many obstacles to explore the depths of complex ideas and share them through compelling narratives.

When not writing, Q can be found delving into ancient texts, unraveling psychological theories, or pondering the unseen forces that shape our reality. Through his work, he hopes to inspire readers to see the world from new perspectives and embrace the endless pursuit of understanding.
